Collaborating With Nature

By now, you might have learned and practiced the skills in the Getting Started With Nature, and Deep Nature Connection courses.  Collaborating With Nature is the perfect place to take those skills and practices to the next level in the framework of the coaching ceremony.  This course introduces you to the EBI process and how to create meaningful and transformative experiences for clients.  Please take the time to read through the details on this page so you know how to get the most out of this course. Course Overview

This course is designed to break down the EBI coaching ceremony and identify the key tenets of each stage.  By the end of this course, students will have the tools necessary to guide a client on a nature connected experience, help the client cultivate awareness, and collaborate with the client to bring insight and lessons learned into everyday life.

Introduction

Objective – Learn and understand the ceremonial coaching approach used at EBI

The Beginning

Objective – Understand and reflect on the 6 stages of this part in the ceremonial process at EBI, Enhance and practice deep listening skills

The Middle

How to Participate in this Course

Practice is essential

This is a self-directed, self-paced program. Like in other courses, Michael gives you instructions for each tool and technique he offers via video.  In most cases you will need more time, so please, watch the instructions a few times, download and print the handouts, and dedicate time to practice.

We recommend that you take your time and go step by step, giving yourself a few days or a week to practice one step before moving on to the next. (Scroll down to see the steps)

Collaborative learning leads to greater understanding and community.

You are invited to post your experience in the discussion area under each module. This will engage the community as well and start a discussion. EBI instructors and staff will be participating in the discussion area as well, so please ask any questions.

Certificate of Completion (Optional)

A certificate of completion is available at the end of this course.  In order to obtain it, every step must be checked ‘complete.’
