NCC Transcription Assignment

After the start of the Toolbox Modules and before the end of your NCC training, you must complete this assignment. You can turn in the assignment at any time within that window. We highly suggest completing this assignment within 14 months of your program start date, regardless of hiatus or any other changes to your NCC timeline. After 14 months, you’ll need to book a paid session with your mentor to complete this step.

Assignment steps 

1. 1. Record a 20-30 minute session with a client or practice client
   2. Transcribe the session
   3. Review your session and write a reflection 
   4. Send this completed assignment to your mentor including the  recording, transcription and the 1-2 page reflection (You can upload these right in the reflection form section)
   5. Book a meeting with your mentor (before your final program due date). 

*Note: If you intend to apply for the ICF certification, you must also submit a recorded and transcribed session to them. Because Nature-Connected Coaching sessions include more steps than a typical coaching session, you’ll likely want to submit a different session to them. For your convenience, here is a link to the ICF page about their transcription requirements. To better understand what the ICF is looking for in a coaching session, here is their chart of coaching benchmarks for each of the credential levels. You are encouraged to bring the session you’ll use for your ICF certification to an ICF Mentoring call with Michael.
