    Module 3, Lesson 2. Stacy Prater-Vigil 7/1/2020

    Map out a plan for one of your clients that shows how you might work with them over 6 month period:
    Client X- Single parent, wants to increase her finances to support her children after losing her job to during Covid-19.
    Client has begun to contemplate that her life is not working the way she needs or wants it to. She needs to make money, is confused about next steps and this pattern of not knowing what steps to take or being confused is all too familiar to her.
    As her Nature Coach I would initiate Ceremony, Release Breath and Wander to acknowledge where she’s at and where she wants to be and that the in-between “stuff” is currently a mystery. Initiating release breath would support her in getting present and start practicing that she can access that release at any time moving forward. The Ceremony would acknowledge where she’s at and honor her present situation and her presence in the process. The Wander would have a set intention potentially, an intention of clarity and confidence. There would be guidance and support during the Wander for things to possibly get hazy before becoming clear and reveal themselves to her. After the wander, we can identify some of her current programming and access some of her emotions that were activated. This guidance, will allow her to move forward in her transformation to new programming and open up some ideas to increase her finances.
    All through-out her 6 months with me as her Nature Coach I would always practice Deep Listening and Sacred Questions. I would also initiate a check-in, or maintenance session every month so that she could keep her new programming alive!

    SIX MONTH PLAN:
    Weekly meetings (four each month).
    First monthly meeting is discussion only. Determine, through guided visualization, what change is needed and the desired goal for the month.
    Second monthly meeting is a together wander. Pre-wander discussion on intention. Post-wander discussion on seven questions. Assign client to continue weekly wanders alone for next two weeks.
    Third monthly meeting check in. Listen to client’s experiences with wanders. Assign continued weekly wanders alone.
    Fourth monthly meeting check in. Update on client’s wander experiences and summarize results from month. Encourage continued wanders.
    This would be the pattern for each consecutive month, however, the first meeting of each month (beginning with month #2) would be a self-reported progress, feedback on progress, re-evaluate needed changes, re-focus intention if needed. No wander this week; only weeks 2-4 each month.
    Last month, repeat first three meetings as in months 2-5, then for the final meeting, shared wander. Pre-wander would include progress made, work left to do. Reset intention. Post-wander would be asking the seven questions again, identifying which have been answered and which one may require more discovery, focus on validating client’s progress.
    My version of this would include hands on applications to reinforce the discoveries made and, in some cases, encourage and empower the client in discovery. I would develop different activities to be experienced at different levels of progress. This would result in each month seeming quite different from the previous on, yet the pattern of discussion and wanders would be nearly identical. My goal would be to guide the client on a journey of continued discovery; encouraging new discoveries that reinforce those related to their intention. My role would be adaptive throughout the six-month timeframe.

    These are some very well detailed long-term coaching plans with space for organic and intuitive growth and collaboration with nature. Stacy and Doc, what you have shared are perfect templates for transformational work with your client and I hope you both get the chance to integrate this plan into action with your client! And if so, I would love to hear what you notice and experience as a guide and collaborator on their journey and process.

    Great work and love the focus and intention you both have brought to this course!

    Reflecting on my experience on guiding someone who has never done the wander before for the assignment in the previous module, I conceive the following plan for a 6 months work.

    We will meet fortnightly. The 1st meeting of the month will be to discuss & support the client to formulate a clear intention wander, including what makes it important for the client to process the topic at that point in time and the specific places the client would like to explore for the wander.

    The 2nd meeting of the month will consist of a complete ceremony series, wherein the beginning part will be 5 minutes sensory awareness meditation to help the client quieten the mind and start building connection with nature. The middle part will be approximately 30 minutes wander, wherein I will let the client lead the wander & I will be creating & maintaining the container for the client’s process through deep listening. The end part will be discussion about the client’s thoughts on whatever that he/she thinks is significant from what he/she notices during the wander and what he/she thinks it is telling him/her. Deep listening will also be employed here, so that I can reflect the client’s thoughts and ask questions that can help the client to go deeper into awareness.

    The pattern will continue for 6 months. However, we will use the last session to review our journey together and think about what the client can do to continue the growth journey that he/she has embarked on. We will review the 1st intention that the client has for the work, where the client think he/she is in terms of that intention, and what has emerged during the 6 months process. Afterwards we will discuss what the client wants to do when the engagement is done to ensure his/her continued growth, as well as identify the supports that he/she needs for that purpose, as well as the available resources that have the potential to provide such support.

    I have been working on three to five session packages to give the client time to really dive in and gain from our time together.

    My most recent client that I am integrating EBI learnings with looks like this
    – five sessions
    – three sessions weekly with homework between
    – final two sessions, timing guided by client, either fortnightly or monthly depending client objectives
    – support available from myself between sessions.

    Currently, I am my only client. As I practice and experience this work, I have flashes of insight as to how I will present offerings and work with others. Here I am putting forth a rough outline of how I plan to present opportunities to prospective clients based on the cycle of seasons and inspired by the cardinal directions.

    Below are four packages, each is composed of three, 90 minute sessions, 1 per month over the course of 3 months. Prior to each session I would allocate 45 minutes to prepare myself to receive my client by tapping into Source to clear my energy field to still my waters so that my client may see their reflection in a crystal clear pool. I would also ask for invitations directed to my client to flow through me. After each session, I’d allocate 45 minutes to assimilate our session by making notes, plan to follow up as requested and clear my energy field. In between sessions I’d invite clients to be in touch by snail mail to share their stories, inquiries and curiosities.

    SET – Self Exploration Sessions: Suggested to start in the Fall (Sep, Oct, Nov)
    REST – Embodied Understanding Session: Suggested to follow the SET Package in Winter months (Dec, Jan, Feb)
    RISE – Inspired Birth / Life Sessions: Suggested to follow the REST Package in Spring months (Mar, April, May)
    SHINE – Energized Work Sessions: Suggested to follow the RISE Package in Summer months (Jun, Jul, Aug)

    The vision for a motivated client is to be able to progress through the four offerings within one year’s time and be able to fly from the nest of guided sessions to fully embody their soul work.
