Daniel I love how you commented to Fear…”Fear is good. We need fear, but we also need to adjust our relationship it. See it, understand it, love it and still take action in spite of it.”

This seems to be such a presistant part in most no matter what we choose to name it. I think for me my Vision is so strong and I can get totally focused on it and make great strides towards it, then this so called fear of stepping out and running with it appears when I look at stepping away from the Corporate world.

My entire life I have dreamed of this Vision and what you stated I think has helped to realize one can continue to push forward despite the Fear.

I have been able to identify my RAS for sure and like Joshua the outcome of this and my time and interactions with EBI are being noticed by coworkes, friends and family even with miles apart between us. The unconditional support has been amazing in reflections and interactions with friends and family and even strangers in starting conversation of my vision.

Wow it is amazing to see how we all can relate to being soul directed! I love everyones post and how it relates to each of us.

One of the things that relates so close to my heart and soul is in what Karina said, “The fall was a wake-up. There is no shame in slowing down. There is strength in self-care and slowness. In it we commune with ourselves and our council and our spirit.”
For me this fall was the owner of the company I am currently at acting out and putting his fist through my office wall over something that happened out of my control. It has been a couple of months now yet it has helped me to realize the daily struggle I have to tell myself to continue restructuring his company so I can focus on my coaching more and how far away I had pushed my soul and the connection I have always had with Nature. Stepping back and doing the 8 indicators several times a day sometimes has helped me to identify when and where I have the deeper connection to my soul and nature. It is amazing to see this and I save the screenshots of where my lines fall around the circle to have to reflect on when I need a good reminder.

Janet I can so relate to your work and how deeply working with those having health issues reveal the soul and connection we can have with individuals. I have worked with several over the years dealing with Cancer and spent a year physically living in a hospital with the last person I worked with who had AML. To work with someone on that level and see them transform from the illness while helping to keep them in the moment and focused on the outcome for me transcended the meaning of Soul Direction to an entire new level. Having to be extremely present in the moment and showing up fully to listen and help guide from moment to moment when someone is on such a rollercoaster of life and emotion helped me to see how fragile each individual is and how working through the smallest of goals is so very rewarding.

As for Nature Connection has been with me since childhood, and when I look back some of the greatest people who have entered my life have done so through our connections with nature and the level our Souls are when that connection of Nature guides us. I have taken all of this as of late and found where I thought I would be a failure or disappointment in saying no and calling it a day so that I can take time to go out in the evenings to my sit spot and listen/reflect on what Nature has to offer has awakened my Soul again! And I must say it feels so good to truly hear that laughter of my soul agian!

Well said Rollin! I love the fact that we can identify parts sand how with each day or new discussion of the mandala we discover new meaning to these parts or additional parts.

For me there may be parts who are far more active than others yet I have chose to let them stay in the shadows of the mandala for when I may be searching for a part that may be triggering another part.

I have found myself taking note of parts that show up and how they react to daily interaction with others as well. I have found the laughter of my soul lighting my heart and nerves when a part that I don’t think of shows up to take on anothers parts (ie at work).

It is amazing how we can feel the presence of others counsels when they move in or have interaction in the moment of conversation. In these moments I have found myself asking who I am interacting with at the moment if they can identify or feel comfortable speaking of a counsel member who may be present at the time. I have found in doing this it opens up conversation on a deeper level if the moment or environment is hectic and distracting from others in the space and allows for a level of comfort and taking a moment to breath deeper easing tension or distractions.

Parts work is a favorite of mine in helping others relate. I look forward to this interaction with clients.

Hannah this sounds great! It will be awesome to see everyone again and dig in as you say! A group of us are staying in Lyons, and I know there are several vegan places there for those who like that. I’m open to whatever kind of cuisine myself.

    Thanks for thinking ahead ☺

    Hello All,
Those of us who stayed in the cabin this last visit have found a really nice camping park 17 miles from the Starhouse in Lyons,CO. I am making reservations for us tonight. If you would like to join us we have room for 2 more people in our spots, and I would be happy to help you reserve some spots. There is a shower house and restrooms. No camp fires are allowed , however there’s a volleyball sand court, kayaking or tubing the creek that surrounds the park, several trails and things to explore.
It’s super cheap and the ranger and host said we should sign up as soon as we can as its a popular park that books fast. We are reserving it for the June visit as well.

The Starhouse Cabin was already booked for April by the owners.

Please text me if you are interested. 913-963-4055. ☺

I just would like to check in and express my most sincere gratitude for all of the wonderful souls and hearts that were connected together in the last 9 days! Hoping all made it back to life and “home” safe! Words can’t express the journey we are all on and the ties we all share. Mother nature has fully connected us all and opened us to Great Lifes to share and grow as we continue.

As I walked back into my home this evening I reflected on what Michael said to us as we left. The power to figure out how to incorporate our lives into our new passion and greatness of connecting with others as we grow will be our biggest challenge. I can say personally I feel as if I’m only visiting my “old life” and my new home is on the mountain there at the cabin with my new family! My life now has a newness and spirit within. I look forward to returning home to the embrace of the canyon, mountain and many smiles, hearts and souls of all of you! This journey was meant to bring us all together as one big happy supportive family of kindred souls!

One parting thing before I break away to rest. I think I shared with most all of you while there I was drawn to buy a piece of something in Boulder while there to bring back and carry with me each day as a reminder of our first meeting at the Star House. It is a silver bracelet that has inscription on it “One touch of nature makes the whole world kin”. And on the inside is inscribed Jon Muir. I now know it was meant to be as we all are now kin through our connection with nature and the Star House!

Rest Well and don’t forget to run your fingers through the grass or dirt of the earth until we meet again as you touch all of our souls through Nature!

    Hello Team!
In the last Zoom/Greet several of us questioned what we can do with the journey we are on as a Nature Connected Coach. I expressed that the doors will open in so many directions and I truly believe that!

Tonight on the Nightly News there was a discussion of the new “places people want to live and have in their life and raising their families to be a part of. It’s called “Agrihoods” When the lady being interviewed was asked why everyone especially millennial’s want to live in these areas and pay dues to have farms within their neighborhoods she commented that outside of the advantage to have local food it is proven that 15-45 minutes a day in or surrounded by nature helps people to cope with stress and live happier lives. While this is not something new, more and more people are open to learning how much nature gives to their self fulfillment and happiness in life. And it’s exciting to see it publicized.

It is enlightening the more we tune in to how and where we can apply our studies what our journey will bring each of us to see how so many out there yearn to have a piece of learning how to incorporate what we are taking time to learn to help them with in the near future!

I’m excited for all of us who are on this journey together to be a part of something much greater in others lives. And hope each and everyone knows the journey we are on is a special one.

    “We rise by lifting others”

    Threshold
Reflect on your experience as a client in the “threshold”

No matter the age, time or place throughout life thresholds have had a significant impact and enlightening vision to answers and deeper meaning always for me. I recall as a child going to Nature at a very young age to seek answers and share my thoughts and emotions with what surrounded me, awaiting and listening as nature would reflect back to my soul and guide me to places of surrender and often times a threshold. The wonder and anticipation of trust in what and where I was guided and what spoke to me in my quest for reasoning or answers always and to this day captures the laughter of my soul. Sometimes that laughter comes in waves of fear, tears, or amazement in what I experience in the moment of story and the threshold. I experience these feelings each time to this day as a client in the awe and adventure of a Threshold.

How does that experience inform your coaching and why?

I would like to share a experience that I had the opportunity to reflect back on while with a client recently. After speaking to a distant friend and explaining to him my journey to work with others in a guiding way of coaching he asked if I would be willing to meet him and help guide him. I offered him a time for meeting and holding space for him. We met on what turned out to be a cold dreary day and it was an honor to explore and then reflect to him; what I heard and his experience of the answers he was searching for came to light as he told me his story. He shared how for almost 2 years he had the same visions daily of our dear friend who was like a brother to us both and he shared with me the reflections of his daily conversations he would have with our Friend who had passed away over 2 years ago. The answer he longed to know is how long would he go on having this daily vision. As I held the space for him to express what he felt inside and how it made him feel, he walked me through the emotions and connection of what he had came to question. As we set in the mist of the cold rain falling on our faces looking out over the field where we had chosen to sit, the wind picked up and he expressed a dream he had one night that had caused these daily conversations and thoughts of our Friend to subside. He dreamed that they went to a foreign land to visit, and as night fell they went outside of the place they were visiting of ornate detailed architecture. The night was clear and the sky full of stars as they looked up. He asked our Friend to return inside and enjoy the beauty of the architecture they had traveled to see, but our Friend asked him to look up into the sky and why he didn’t want to stay there in the moment, outside and admire the stars. Did he not find them peaceful and feel the connection of the wonders of the earth? He asked our Friend do you not want to return inside we can see stars anywhere.

How did Nature participate in your process and what does that tell you about coaching others?

At that moment he stood up and asked me to stand with him and look to the sky with the mist of the light rain falling on our faces. I joined him in this moment and as the daylight faded to dusk and the wind picked up blowing my ball cap from my head I turned to reach for my ball cap and he said let me. As he picked it up and turned to give it to me he said I just realized that in this moment Omar is here with us again as you and I have not seen each other in over 2 years only to speak on the phone. I now am at peace and realize it was that dream when I asked him to go back inside with me and he said, “No don’t you want to stay here with me and look up at the sky? For me this is where I want to be, I will stay. You go if you want to see the architecture.” I have not thought of him everyday or heard his voice until just now, and I am here again with you and looking out onto the land he cared for while you were gone, and again I am able to admire the architecture of your home that I love!

We hugged as he handed me my ball cap and he said I am at peace in this moment. I set back down with him and reflected to him the story he had just shared and he said he felt as if he had crossed a threshold and felt at ease in all of the connection and peace. I realized in that moment the importance of trust and intimacy as in the core competencies. This allowance of the vision and story that allows for one to experience such a profound Threshold. And this is What ICF core competencies are essential for me to practice and build on to feel confident in that “place” as a coach?

It was a touching and personal reflection after he left for me of the threshold I had last time in CO and how our same Friend had brought me to a place to explain how we came from two worlds to meet and share a journey of life. As I journal and reflect of his session with me I’m drawn to conclude that I truly believe we all experience Thresholds in a manifest of ways, and yet there is always a thread that ties them together in reflection of our “necklaces or bracelets of life” that are collected throughout our lives of our stories and if we look at our “necklaces or bracelets” some of the strands are black on the end where the Threshold is yet to be met. The ones in vivid color have been brought to light and dipped in a bright color; those are the ones that one day will tie into the others as it always comes back to ‘One’.
