Hi! I’m Lari Jo Edwards. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science degree in Ecological Teaching and Learning from Lesley University.
I developed a passion for the outdoors at a very early age through Scouting. I was fortunate to have many teachers and mentors that fostered my love of science and further encouraged my love of the outdoors.
To quote Charlotte Mason,
“We are all meant to be naturalists, each in his own degree, and it is inexcusable to live in a world so full of the marvels of plant and animal life and to care for none of these things.”
To that end, I am passionate about getting families outdoors and connected with nature. One of my favorite methods of connecting to nature is through the various techniques of nature journaling. I can’t wait to see how NCC will become integrated into all that I do in the future.
